21 year old entrepreneur, Cole T. Evans has developed a chewing gum unlike any on the market!

JZ had the pleasure of connecting with Cole and his team to set up a fabulous interview, showcasing Confadent and how it is becoming a top seller in the market!

What makes it unique? "The use of FDA approved active ingredients to ensure that you have the cleanest and freshest mouth throughout your busy day. Think of it as mouthwash you can continually chew. "

How did Confadent come out? "In high school, I had a summer internship with a large manufacturer of oral care products and noticed that there was no convenient solution for keeping your mouth really clean between brushings..."

"...Being an active person in athletics, business and enjoying the outdoors – who also cares about grooming and health – I’m not a huge fan of carting around a toothbrush, toothpaste, and mouth wash, so I set out to figure out a way to keep my mouth clean throughout the day in a convenient and discreet manner. Through a lot of trial-and-error, winning pitch contests to initially fund my dream, then bringing together a bunch of talented partners – it’s taken about four years to get CONFADENT to market. "

Cole tells us what really makes Confadent different from other brands on the market!

"The dental community fully endorses chewing sugar-free gum to protect teeth. Many gums in-market now claim hygiene benefits based on their inclusion of the sweetener Xylitol, a sugar alcohol that has been shown to aid in the reduction of plaque. We use Xylitol as a sugar substitute too, as it is a safe alternative to Aspartame. However, CONFADENT Oral Technology is the only gum in-market using FDA approved ingredients that provides the additional oral care benefits that reduces surface plaque, helps protect gums, and helps fight harmful cavity-causing bacteria. What are your goals for Confadent?

"CONFADENT Oral Technology is the first branded product of KISS Industries. The gum industry has been stagnant for a while, so we’re going to disrupt it and finally offer a safe product that helps our consumers maintain oral health while on-the-go or at times when water (or a clean environment) isn’t available."

What made you decide to become an entrepreneur?

"I come from a long line of entrepreneurs between my grandparents on both sides and my parents. Everybody has started their own companies throughout the years, so it’s in my genes! I made the difficult decision last year to leave an excellent entrepreneur program at Trinity University to concentrate on starting up KISS Industries and launching CONFADENT; I’m getting real-life education every single day and it really is inspiring! It’s all about grinding it out to reach your own goals."
