NEXTonSCENE Brows that WOW!

Last night was the official launch party for the new Brow Line, Brows that WOW at Waxing the City Boston on Beverly Street!
Owner, Marianna Clark hosted a FUN night out with some fabulous wine, herbal teas by Flourish Boston, treats and brow lessons by Alexandra Makeup Artistry.
The Brows that Wow Collection give clients the capability to custom blend the perfect color for their desired look.
These multiple color palettes are all clinically-tested, dermatologist-approved, paraben-free and hypoallergenic!
On the left you can see Makeup artist and teacher, Alexandra Dale from Alexandra Makeup Artistry designing Owner of Waxing the City Boston, Marianna Clark's Brows to match her skin tones while making a bold statement.
What I really enjoyed about the launch is that there is a variety of pencils to choose from. We all have different skin tones and it especially comes out more reflecting on your hair color.
Not being a big makeup gal to begin with I was really excited to try out the more natural look with "Cool Blonde." I love how it comes with a "Spoolie Brush." A Spoolie Brush helps shape your eyebrows so they look super natural after you shade it with pencil.
Alexandra, was informing me that our eyebrows should naturally be straight and shorter towards the middle of your face and then curve along your eyelid, parallel to your eye.
It is important to know how to use the Spoolie Brush after the pencil because it makes your brows look more naturally shaped!

It was a really fun experience to learn the design of the brow. I also recommend investing in a highlighter. After you pencil and use the Spoolie Brush, you take the highlighter pencil which "looks like crayon when you first draw it on your face." as Alexandra states. Then you pencil it under your brow and rub it in. After you rub in the highlighter, your eyebrows look BOLD and FABULOUS!
